LOS ANGELES (September 8, 2023) - From colorful parades and lively music to art workshops and celebrity appearances, Curacao, the largest Hispanic-serving retailer on the West Coast, is set to make this Hispanic Heritage Month unforgettable. With events crafted to showcase the cultural richness of a wide array of Hispanic cultures, Southern California residents can anticipate immersive experiences in art, music, food, and traditions.

The commemorations begin with a Mexican Independence Parade and Celebration proceeding through East Los Angeles and broadcast live on ABC7 on Sunday, September 10, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Featuring Mexican actress Nitzia Chama, star of the HBO show "The Garcias”, entertainment will include mariachis, free food, giveaways, an art exhibition, and a display of traditional Mexican costumes from film and television.
A cultural art showcase and art workshop for children will be held at a Honduran Parade and Festival on Sunday, September 24, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Downtown Los Angeles.
Additionally, a free concert event featuring a Queen cover band, Bohemian Queen, and exclusive meet and greet opportunities with Mexican-American singer Luis Coronel will take place at various Curacao store locations:
